the 4 watch system appeared around 1976/7 it replaced the 7 squad system on a reduction in hours from 56 hr week to a 48 hr week giving 2 10 hr dayshifts and 2 14 hr nightshifts with 4 shifts off
Trying to find info regarding watch designations within strathclyde fire brigade was wondering when sfb first started green,red,blue and White watch have been told it was possibly the 60′s and was wondering if you had any info on this thanks
